Friends

Follow the lives of six reckless adults living in Manhattan, as they indulge in adventures which make their lives both troublesome and happening.

This show is a COMEDIC GOLDMINE. Many shows have tried (and failed ) to replicate its magic. Though how I met your mother came close ,it didn’t have the consistency in doling out good episodes every week like friends. And none can match the crackling chemistry this cast shared. The best thing about friends is its rewatchability. You can just watch it again and again and again and again……. Sitcoms these days go for the odd smile or chuckle and instead try to show how smart they are . Friends really made you laugh loud and almost cry laughing. It still beats me how it was able to be so consistently funny throughout its ten season run. After each episode I’d come out with a smile on my face.

F. R. I. E. N. D. S ,I wonder how they came up with such a beautiful story,The characters – Ross, Rachael, Joey, Phoebe, Monica and Chandler. They just show you how the actual friends be. Ross’s intelligent and nerd thing, Rachel’s dramatic sense, Joe’s childish behavior, Phoebe’s weirdness, Monica’s discipline and finally Chandler’s sarcastic jokes, I bet this series ruled the 90’s and it still rock today and it will in coming years

The Mandalorian

2019 ‧ Action fiction -A lone gunfighter makes his way through the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic.

Some Spoilers: Wow! What can I say? Disney really knocked it out the park this time. It’s not secret that STAR WARS has become very controversial since Disney took over Lucas Film. The new trilogy has taken STAR WARS in a new direction that not everyone agrees with. At the eve of Rise of the Skywalker Disney has released The Mandalorian series and its exceptionally good. It follows a bounty hunter on the job following the destruction of the Empire. This fits the story in-between Return of the Jedi and The force awakens. The Mandalorian is a character very much in the style of Boba Fett and Jango Fett. A no nonsense man of few words. We get to see him use the classic weapons he has in new and interesting ways as well. A simple man trying to make his way in the universe. The story is basic but sets things up nicely for later episodes. It does a great job at setting up the characters, motivations, the world and the atmosphere. It makes us care about the characters with very little exposition which is no small feat. The episode is full of easter eggs and surprises for fans who know the lore. The new creatures and droids are really well designed and memorable. Perhaps among the most memorable of any in the STAR WARS mythos. I will never forget the very expressive creatures that look like baby dinosaur piranhas. The bounty droid too is very cool. He can look and shoot in all directions by spinning his arms independently 360 degrees. He is miles better than the droid in Solo but seems to use the same motion capture style which looks great. There isn’t much actual space and ship sequences in the first episode but I’m sure the space battles and all that will come later on in the series. We get to see creatures from the original trilogy. Remember Jabba the Hutt’s little laughing critter? Remember the droid that looks like a trash can with legs? The special effects are top notch without being overbearing. The music is excellent with some subtle melodic themes throughout. Wow. This show is great. For anyone who was upset about the new trilogy this show heals those wounds, gives hope to STAR WARS fans for the future and suggests the franchise is far from dead with many possibilities for new and exciting story telling in the future. The Obi Wan series will now be even more anticipated. The thought of an Obi Wan series with this level of quality starring Ewan McGregor is almost too much to bear. It is a STAR WARS fans dream come true. The idea of making STAR WARS content into a live action TV series is the best decision Disney and Lucas Film could of made. BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! Thank you Disney for redeeming yourself and giving the fans what they want. This show is not political. It is not controversial. Its just STAR WARS at its best. I repeat, STAR WARS at its best. If the show carries on in this direction it will be regarded by fans as up there with the original trilogy. The only criticism I have is that the episode was too short. The episodes should be an hour or more each but that’s just me, a fan, wanting more.

Visual effects:

Visual effects studio Industrial Light & Magic, a subsidiary of Lucasfilm, opened a new division in November 2018 targeted for streaming and episodic television called ILM TV. Based in London with support from the company’s locations in San Francisco, Vancouver, and Singapore, it is expected that the new division will work extensively on live-action Star Wars television series, starting with The Mandalorian.

Unreal Engine 4, a game engine developed by Epic Games, is used to create the digital backgrounds. It makes the rendering of the visual effects faster than would normally be possible for a live-action series, and Favreau said the technology can be applied to a variety of challenges. So rather than using sketches on a whiteboard to map out scenes, the storyboarding was done on the game engine.[69][70]

Music:

The music for The Mandalorian is composed by Ludwig Göransson. Each chapter has its own soundtrack album, released the same day. For the score, Göransson played many of the key instruments himself, and then added a 70-piece orchestra. He wrote four hours of music for the eight episodes.

Marriage Story

“Marriage Story” is an ironic title for writer-director Noah Baumbach’s latest foray into family dysfunction, since “Divorce Story” would be more accurate. There’s method to that, however, in this look at how a couple reaches the point of divided harmony, with Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson portraying the conflicted spouses.

Drama/Comedy-drama,Nominations: Golden Lion, Academy Award for Best Picture-Box office: 2.3 million USD-

Awards: Independent Spirit Robert Altman Award,

I’ve been trying to come up with a way of reviewing this film in a way that doesn’t seem like I personally directed it or something, because movies like Marriage Story don’t come along very often and I just feel like gushing about how incredible is. Netflix has been releasing tons of quality content this year and this may very well be the best of their entire catalogue of feature films. Alone with Roma and their recent release of The Irishman, I believe you’ll be seeing Marriage Story in contention for many, many awards in the coming months. Here’s why I believe Marriage Story is a must-watch.  Not all relationships work out and if every single Romance film ever made had a happy ending, then that would just be a lie. It’s nice to see a movie tackle this subject matter and stick with it from start to finish. Marriage Story is a look into the lives of Charlie (Adam Driver) and Nicole (Scarlett Johansson) as they are clearly not able to keep a working marriage, but also don’t want to ruin the family they have made. From gut-wrenching scenes of excessively honest dialogue and a conclusion that feels raw and true, this movie is one of the best dramas I’ve seen in years.  Take your pick at who outshines who here, because it really is a toss-up as to who is more incredible between Driver and Johansson. It does help that writer/director Noah Baumbach gave them outstandingly good dialogue to work with, but the way these two play off each other is as if they were given a year to prepare for these roles and get to know each other. Everything about this film felt authentic, which made the overall impact so powerful. It’s not easy to watch a movie about a love story that’s about how marriage sometimes doesn’t work out, but this movie does it in such a way that it doesn’t feel depressing throughout the majority of the duration. This is all thanks to Noah Baumbach though.  From Greenberg to While We’re Young, Baumbach has been a director I’ve been keeping my eyes on, as I believe he has gotten better with each of his films, for the most part. It wasn’t until The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) that I really started to anticipate his next movie, but now I’ll be desperately awaiting to get another story from him. His talent as a director, especially on Marriage Story, is truly something else. He is best suited for movies like Marriage Story or While We’re Young, where it’s all about the characters because he very clearly has a knack at getting the best possible performances out of his cast.  Marriage Story begins strong, easing you into what will be a very emotional film and concludes in a way that feels natural. Overall, from these award-worthy performances, superb writing and directing, a very minimal score, which lets you sit with these characters for extended periods of time, it’s very hard to nitpick this movie. There is one scene that made me chuckle, purely because I felt uncomfortable, but this movie is otherwise perfectly done. By the time 2019 ends, I feel that I may have to say this is the best movie of the year. I absolutely loved every minute of this movie. I can’t recommend it enough.

OK WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE SHOW IS DEFINITELY A WORTHY BINGE. YOU WOULDN’T REGRET IT. EACH EPISODE IS LIKE A SEPARATE MOVIE SO PEOPLE WHO LIKE BINGING MOVIE SERIES WILL ALSO LOVE THIS. I THINK I DON’T NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE ACTING OF BENEDICT AND MARTIN, AS YOU START WATCHING THE SHOW YOU WILL UNDERSTAND HOW GOOD THEY SUIT THE ROLE AND YOU WILL LOVE THEIR CHEMISTRY. YOU’LL BE ABLE TO FIND HUMOR HERE AND THERE. THIS SHOW NEEDS MUCH CONCENTRATION FROM THE AUDIENCE’S SIDE SO THAT ONE CAN GET THE FULL ESSENCE OUT OF EACH EPISODE. OVERALL THIS SHOW IS A MASTER PIECE AND YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE THIS IN YOUR LIST,Why i didn’t watch this show before ???? This is literally an amazing show truly amazing , every moment of every episode is a masterpiece . Benedict and martin’s acting skills are flawless. Their acting is amazing in different situation and timings in show , they are really great actors . This show can make you laugh like a comedy , can amaze you which you would expect because its a thriller genre , and also can make you feel like cry in its emotional moments . Its true that it was at its peak in s1 and s2 but it doesn’t mean last two seasons are worthless , many people will say this just ignore them and watch it . The thing is last two seasons took emotional aspect more than suspense which sometimes seem forced and makers have add more special effects which has no need . Fans say that last season was disappointing but literally its amazing and took both emotional and suspense aspects with balance and also acting is getting more and more ,better with seasons . Don’t listen to the critics or anyone say against the show its amazing and worth a watch not only 1 time but as many times you can .
